Rickie Fowler started 2016 off right, capturing his first victory of the season at the Abu Dhabi Championship on the European Tour.
Fowler, a three-time winner in 2015, shot a three-under-par 69 in his final round to finish 16-under for the tournament after a three foot put on the last hole to secure a one shot win over Thomas Pieters from Belgium.
The victory moves Fowler to 4th place in the Official World Golf Rankings.
