In Hotels auf dem Golfplatz (Hotels on the Golf Course) brochure for 2016 there are partner hotels and golf courses in four countries. Six hotels are new to the group. Among them Schloss Muenchhausen in Northern Germany (pictured above).
All 29 members, of which 22 are in Germany, five in Austria and one each in Italy and Spain, offer attractive Stay & Play packages.
While the brochure sofar is only in German, there is an English summary on the website with links to all partner hotels and a map showing where the various hotels and golf courses are located in four countries. Further information and updates in English will be added throughout the year.
Amateur tournaments for hotel guests
The popular Golf Trophy, a series of amateur tournaments for their guests, will also be continued in 2016.
26 tournaments will be played in four countries between the end of April and the end of November 2016 with the largest choice of tournaments ever.
Competitions will cover a broad regional spectrum from the North of Germany with the coast of the Baltic Sea all the way down South through many regions of Germany into Bavaria, Austria and Italy.
Kick-off will be on 30 April, 2016 at Oeschberghof in Southern Germany. The final will be held from 24 to 26 November, 2016 at the Lindner Golf & Wellness Resort Portals Nous in Spain on the island of Majorca.
