The London five-star golf resort, The Grove, in Hertfordshire within easy reach of central London, the M25 and Heathrow Airport, is rated best for Overall Guest Experience by Troon Management.
The competition came from a list of more than 250 Troon-managed golf courses in 27 countries. Based on customer feedback surveys, the award accurately reflects guest ratings.
With an overall score of 98.4 percent The Grove (hole 4 pictured above) triumphed over five-star international venues around the world. Anna Darnell, Director of Golf at The Grove, points out that The Grove is the only golf venue in the UK to have been selected to host a World Golf Championship.
“The Grove is a club without members, so we ensure all our guests enjoy a memorable day out. The results of the customer feedback survey suggest we are succeeding in this, which is why we are welcoming back guests time and again,” Darnell comments.
The 18-hole course at The Grove was designed by architect Kyle Phillips and is rated England’s Number One Pay-and-Play Golf Course by Golf Monthly magazine.
The resort also features a luxury hotel and spa, with 26 bedrooms in the historic, Grade II listed mansion house and 191 spacious, stylish rooms in the contemporary West Wing.
