Between June 3rd and June 8th this year ten teams of ten happy amateur golfers will be battling out over three rounds in the European 10s Championship on the three Quinta do Lago courses on Portugal’s Algarve coast.
The new championship is aimed at golfers from across the globe, at all levels of the old and ancient game.
Teams will be made up of ten players, and each day five pairs from each team will be chosen. Team members cannot be paired together more than once during the three days play. Each day the best four scores will count as the team score with the worst score discounted.
